The cattle drive is an event with a long tradition. Summer is coming to an end and the festively decorated alpine cows and cattle are returning from their mountain meadows to their stables in the valley. The descent from the Alps is determined by the lack of grass growth and, depending on the region, varies between mid-September and mid-October.
