The fairy tale figure of the hedgehog appeared as early as the 19th century... little by little there were films (Diehl), stories and postcards... the hedgehog figures became popular as mascots for the magazine Hörzu.... the meanwhile nostalgic postcards with motifs based on Diehl -Movie and a always nice saying attached are enjoyed by old and young!

The Diehl brothers, pioneers of puppet animation, captured a story on celluloid in their studios in 1936/37... a mixture of subtle humor and obsession with detail in figures, decoration and costumes.
