A popular decoration is also a small pixy door with a delightful mini world around it... the custom of the pixy door comes from Scandinavia. All year round, but always before Christmas, a little gnome moves into the house and lives behind a gnome door above the baseboard. He helps with the preparations for Christmas and likes to play practical jokes. He is nocturnal and only comes out of hiding when everyone is asleep. The gnome door must never be opened! Because if someone sees the gnome, he loses his magic power.
